Join CSRA and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. We are searching for an Electronics/Cable Technician to join our team in Charleston, SC.
The Technician supports structured cabling installation activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of Inside Plant (ISP)/ Outside Plant (OSP) cable infrastructure (copper and fiber), Intrusion Detection (ID) systems, Closed Circuit TV (CCTV), Radio Frequency (RF) cabling and antennas, and specialized test equipment.
The Technician also:
Works with applications such as analog, digital and/or video circuits, and logical electrical systems.
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions.
Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
Must have the ability to read ISP/OSP drawings as well as be able to redline/markup existing drawings from surveyed data and specified details.
Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
Basic knowledge of AUTOCAD is a plus Minimum Qualifications:
0-3 years of cabling and electronics maintenance experience
High School Diploma
US Citizenship; must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start
